Unbelievable, but true.... Michael Jackson, the King of Pop died on 25 June 2009.

It's ironic cos when he's around everyone calls him Wacko Jacko and a freak. Now that he's gone, all of a sudden everyone feels the loss and is in deep mourning. Regardless of whatever he's previously been accused of, he did made great music and his dance moves are incomparable. Songs like Earth Song, Heal the World, You Are Not Alone, etc... has such meaningful lyrics and music video that everyone is still talking about it after so long.

R.I.P. Michael Jackson......

The Beginning

Imagine having created this blog some time in 2008, I have not bothered to post even a single note. Of course, one has to have a topic to babble about before starting a blog. My original intention was to treat this blog as my private space to put my thoughts in writing; whatever made me happy, sad, nostalgic, and special memories worth remembering. I thought it would be great to look back when I'm in my golden years - either with my husband beside me and grandchildren bouncing on my knees while I'm reading away at a PC or residing in a retirement home, hopefully with a laptop to pass away the time while my husband is napping somewhere on a rocking chair.

However, along the way, time was a constraint. In addition, there's the niggling thought that whatever is stored on the blog won't be private and there's a possibility it'll be read by virtual strangers. Now that there're so many people getting their own blogs which are very much more interesting to read and look at, I can convince myself that no one stumbling upon my page would bother to take a second look.

So, hope I'll be able to keep up posting future notes to myself.
